Sainsbury's to stop selling CDs and DVDs

They still have a slim range of CDs and DVDs in my local store. Mainly compilations, budget Gold releases and a the odd slightly random new offering. Their selections lean very Radio 2 - I don't think I have even seen Olivia Rodrigo's perennial number one album stocked, though the latest Texas effort made the cut.

Going back a few years they had a whole aisle until Argos moved in. To be fair when I do pop round to have a look there is never anyone else browsing.

I wonder how many of the Now series sales come from the supermarkets too?
 
This thread is reminding me when GERU went back to her hometown and ASDA WATFORD to sign copies of PASHUN. What a moment.
