Oh my god I can't. What is that song that goes "sometimes I feel like I wanna jump off of a helicopter when I'm looking at you"? Because Google and youtube just show suicide results. It's just been featured in the show.
 
2.2 million for last nights show. The highest rating for a while I think.
 


I have to question how 'somewhat successful' an extra 0.3m total audience is, considering that has come at the cost of giving up primetime ITV1 and I imagine the vast majority of that audience would have watched on ITV2 only.

I didn’t realise it was shown on ITV1 and 2. How are lots of websites like radio times and digital spy going with 2.2 million?

No idea, I'd not seen anything. Perhaps the peak audience, compared to the average?

I see Aaron from series 1 of The Traitors is going in to the US Love Island.
 
Down to 1.0m in the overnights for the second episode.
 
Oh no, Joey chose Smamfa. The hairdresser had a lovely bum to look at in the boxers shots. I just don't think Joey was the right casting choice for this deed and, already, pretending not to know what words he's just used mean or how to pronounce them seconds after he's just said them correctly, it's just a completely stale persona to be peddling into your mid 30s with.
 
Does Ronnie have a bad hair transplant or a dodgy hair piece? 🤔

I think it is too early to say. As I said above I wasn’t too keen on a celeb joining in on the civilian series but the girls are all going to be fawning over him because they know that he is a ready made celeb with a tasty bank balance that they can sink their teeth in to. He may not necessarily cause any drama himself, but him being in there will certainly cause a whole lot more drama as the girls quarrel over him.
 
Last nights episode was FANTASTIC for day 3 in the series. I think this season is going to be VERY EXPLOSIVE. :disco:

Yes I am struggling between 3 of them too. Liverpool girl, Harriet, and Geru Hallwell circa Spice Girls lookalike (terrible streaks).

After last night, I think the fact that the boys know they'll be competing for attention and airtime might be why they're already getting embroiled in drama so early.
 
Averaging 1.2 million an episode which is up considerably on the last few seasons.:o
 
Some sources saying up 50% on the last couple of seasons.

I think this is one of the most entertainingly watchable yet thoroughly unlikeable casts the show has had for years.

Samantha's DESPERATION to pretend she doesn't see Joey as "Joey Essex" isn't convincing whatsoever.

Ronnie is genuinely GORMLESS. As thick as two short planks.

Harriett is SHAMELESS, and I love it, but I also fear she lacks the Ekin-Su likeability factor and will be booted out sooner rather than later.

Bless Sean trying to strike up a conversation with ANYONE and failing every time.
 
I am REALLY enjoying this years show and think the producers have definitely done a good job in the casting so far. I don’t actually think they NEEDED Joey Essex but it may be what has given it the boot up the arse ratings wise.

Harriett IS a great watch but is terribly unlikeable. Team Jess all the way.
 
Harriett and Joey have formed quite the little coven of SHIT STIRRING.
 
I feel like Mimii and Ayo are not coming across very well. They should be safe will there are other dud couples in there, but Uma is very likeable and came out of tonight’s episode much better.
 
Does anyone else think that Joey is gay? He does have the fact that Smamfa is clearly wanting to be an instagram couple with him so badly

I fancy Sean so don't quite get him being not slept on or under.

I think it's Ronnie who wears the wig? It really needs to be a shade lighter and have the subtlest of highlights to break it up a bit. That's hair advice from me and I'm Gail Porter Mitchell these days
 
I hadn't considered Joey being gay as a reason for his behaviour :D

Simply put, he's never going to do Love Island in the same way as a non-celebrity because he has a brand and a reputation. His approach, thus far, hasn't been dissimilar to Gemma Owen a few years back. She generally kept her distance from the drama and played it very safe.
