Eternal Reunion Tour SCRAPPED (Cause: TERFism)

So Graham Linehan has decided that two women he doesn't know are better people than another woman he doesn't know, because of one single issue. The other two women might be part of a satanic cult for all he knows, or could be politically opposite to him in every other way. But NO, because of that flag, he's fully made his mind up and he's 100% correct.

This issue really makes bigotry cancel out intelligence.

why spend so much emergy analysing trash? :D he's very much not worth it dear, and these bigots thrive on oxygen. they must be deprived of it.
 
I don’t actively use X/Twitter at all, but I have just had a look today and I am quite heartbroken at the amount of TERF and anti trans stuff on there. Even from GAY MEN. Has it always been this bad?

It's the complete lack of logic. It frustrates me when people truly believe they're talking sense but are actually the opposite.

The vast majority of people are anti-trans rights in some way shape or form, even the ones who think they're not but they are. Moopy is a minority of current social thinking. Sad but true. I see it every day.
 
As a fan I’m pretty devastated that any potential reunion will not happen but my heart is full for Louise. She can carry the can for the band and have my full support for evermore.

I’m pretty confused though because around the time of the big reunion Eternal we’re booked as a three piece for Birmingham pride, it never happened (I think) because of Kellé’s lupus but they were announced and advertised so it must’ve all been signed and sealed… is this new take from Vernie literally just from the past few years? I guess we’ll never know the sisters rationale but it’s pretty vexing.

As a gay man I am eternally (pardon the pun) baffled by the small sub-sect of anti-trans gay men and the claims of the ‘trans agenda’ swarming our community… I don’t see it anywhere in my real life and I live on fucking Canal Street…
 
interesting that they were ok to do Pride back then! Just shows the damage that’s been done in the last few years
 
This is really disappointing. It is always horrible to see people you liked and admired with such disgusting views.

Redknapp's publicist, Simon Jones, confirmed the development in a statement to the BBC.

"A message was sent to the team putting together the Eternal reunion stating that if it was to go ahead, neither Vernie nor Easther would perform at Pride shows or LGBTQ+ festivals," he said.

"This was because the duo felt that the gay community was being hijacked by the trans community and they do not support this.

"Louise is a huge supporter and ally of the LGBTQ+ community and both herself and Kéllé told the duo they would not work with anyone who held these views, and as such the reunion as a four would not be going ahead.

"The team behind the proposed Eternal reunion are gay including management, PR and tour promoter, and neither myself nor any of the team would work with artists who held such views about the trans community."

I think it’s fine that the TERFs have them even if I liked that one two watchu gonna do song back in the day and owned their album.
 
Why has Linehan deleted his post? Not brave enough to stand by his own bigotry?
 
So they’re not denying they are anti-trans, they just are upset and mortified Louise let everyone know it?
 
Yeah, they are just worried they are going to lose the LGB Without The T crowd, aren't they?
