Best The Corrs song

I love the Summer Sunshine / Angel 1 2 combo. And the heartbreak uptempo ABBA formula.

BUT

I think So Young is probably my favourite.

Goodbye is gorgeous but I think forgotten as it came after their peak.

Don't let my tears start to make you cry
Everytime I try
Try to say my goodbyes
Try to stop asking why
Eeeyaaayaaaay :(

I want to try Andrea's memoir and poetry.

Dreams and Only When I Sleep.

I never quite got why both Sleep and Never Loved You Anyway weren't given belated releases, but I guess the album didn't need require it and they were well featured on TV advertisements.

I don't think I've ever shared this embarrassing tid bit, but songwriter sorb came up with a "summer sunshine" long before they did and straight away I considered it nothing but lazy songwriting from them. I still don't like it though :)

Just saw they're touring Talk on Corners later this year but at £92 in Manchester I'd say it was a tad pricey.

Anyway, Breathless, Summer Sunshine, Runaway, Dreams and Irresistible.

Little Wing. Stunning song and version.

I can stand Runaway and So Young, and the rest I pretty much dislike.

Corrs Top 10

1. When He's Not Around
2. No Good For Me
3. So Young
4. Forgiven, Not Forgotten
5. Only When I Sleep
6. Runaway
7. Give Me A Reason
8. Radio
9. Heaven Knows
10. Queen of Hollywood

It's a toss between Closer (marginally better than Runaway in the ten-years-too-late power ballad stakes), or I Never Loved You Anyway (they really should have done more with Glen Ballard)

Releasing Irresistible before Give Me A Reason was a big career misfire

Silly money aside, I am totally there for The Corrs / Imbruglia joint tour. Manchester will be obliterated from the map from the sheer power of combined BREEZINESS.

I need to think about this.

I got tickets for the tour though. £100 but it’s in the Hydro and all tickets there are at least £70 these days.

Quee A's adlibs at are always everything - but she really went above and beyond the call of duty when those violins changed key at this song

YADDARR YADDARR!!!

:disco:

I do really want to see them live with Nat OR EVEN SHANIA but I'm supposed to be saving and have seen them before. But I probably will anyway.

I was decorating a house to Love to Love You last week and had forgotten how lovely it is.

Also, Home is a very underrated album.

Finally, I'd like to give a little shout out to the beautiful Ellis Island.

Only When I Sleep and I Never Loved You Anyway remain masterpieces, particularly special as it was just before they properly blew up.

But Breathless really is a 10/10 pop song, so it has to be that.

'Breathless' is great but I find their stuff a bit too syruppy.

Oh Closer is gorgeous. I love the piano bits.

Breathless and Runaway from their biggies

Queen of Hollywood and Never Loved You Anyway from their catalogue

Angel, Summer Sunshine and Would You Be Happier are personal faves too
