They're not typically the go to when people think of a Kylie track, but there are so many great ones.

Which is your favourite?
 
Some off the top of my head...

Put Yourself in My Place
Breathe
Dreams
Loving Days
Sleeping with the Enemy
 
I am also very fond of Heaven and Earth and not ashamed.

There are also a handful of tracks that I love that I'm not sure qualify as "ballads" in that traditional sense (e.g. The One, I Believe in You, Confide in Me, Surrender, Lovin' You)
 
Does Kiss Me Once count as a ballad?

I’m no fan of the album but it’s a gorgeous song.

I thought about that one and "Feels so Good". They feel a bit too SUNNY to be ballads

If I'm ever desolately staring starry-eyed out of a spaceship sepulchre I know what I'll be playing. Kylie once again staking her claim to pop realms untravelled. The detached rave up of the remix to follow of course.
 
Somebody to Love is more on the ballad side of the emotopop scale. Flower was gorgeous too.

I'd say her best is this though

Yeah, being under 120bpm does not automatically make something a ballad.
 
since when are there such strict rules on balladry?

it's all relative anyway - if Kylie barely has any "real" ballads, her slower/softer moments are bound to be considered as such

I feel Kylie's mid-tempo teeters are trailblazers in redefining the ballad. No one else does them quite like her. Illusion as ballad or ballad as illusion, etc.

The more sentimental moments on X were generally a miss (Cosmic, No More Rain, All I See)
 
Music's Too Sad is a great song. almost makes me yearn for an AC album from her.

No More Rain is OK but the others are terrible. Cosmic would rank in my worst Kylie songs EVER.
