Spice Girls Reunion (1 Viewer)

I’m surprised indie darling Melanie C hasn’t gone down that path yet!

Sheena's spent 18 years HATIN' and he now has reserve tickets. :amlife::argh::D

Never denied my love for them as a group! The solo projects were patchy at best, but had some good moments. The fun has been the FANZ. I thought that was entirely obvious...

But then some people are obviously just JELUS!

Well that was stressful. I completely missed out this morning but kept an eye on Seetickets for the Wembley Thursday, they kept popping up and disappearing. Ended up with some of the 82.50 seats in the upper blocks on the side but I don’t give a shit about being far away really. I’m just so excited to BE THERE (and be able to have a nice sit down - thanks to those here who warned against standing!)

I got standing tickets for the last Manchester date (then the only Manchester date). Such a chaotic process though, after waiting a good twenty minutes I was kicked out of the queue, I tried again, it told me it was sold out, refreshed and got tickets literally seconds later.

I'll invest in some binoculars.

Welcome to the Thursday Wembley posse :disco:

Do we know if the dates have all sold out? Did they all sell out in 11 seconds or whatever the usual story is?

Sales were certainly BRISK
Andrew Parsons, managing director at Ticketmaster was amazed by the response and said: ‘Demand for Spice Girls was off the chart. They have smashed through Ticketmaster UK’s records becoming the busiest ever sale.
‘There were millions of people on our site searching for tickets, with a queue at one point of well over 700,000.’ He continued: ‘Hundreds of thousands of tickets were sold to happy fans across the country within minutes. Congratulations to the girls. From what we saw, they could have played nearly every night for a year.’

Wow. That's incredible!

MILLIONS of people! I wonder how many of those are the same people with multiple browsers open, but STILL

I don't think hundreds of thousands were happy in minutes, if the moopy experience was anything to go by.

Frustrated in minutes, happy in hours, perhaps.

They are certainly ANNOYINGLY entertaining on Jonathan Ross.

GERI and MEL B still battling for ATTENTION like it's 1997.

Yes it was obvious, as was my jesting

So I am just watching Jonathan Ross..and when John Bishop talks, quite movingly about his gay son, Geri is desperately trying to interrupt and Emma actually whacks her to shut up. Split second but watch it :D

You know what I love, is that whatever Spice do its WORLDWIDE...my dad lives in Sydney and said it was top news on sunrise there..I think US dates are next, but they could literally take this to huge levels. I am now thinking about setlist and the show. i'm like a kid in a sweet shop :D

ET news in America:

Just watching WOSSY back now - and even though GERU cannot shut up and chats shit - she is TOTALLY the leader isn't she. Dynamics don't change.

Now for the ultimate troll setlist inspired by Brandy Norwood:

1. Right Back at Ya
2. Voodoo
3. Right Back at Ya (Thunderpuss mix)

At this point Mel B goes home

4. Song For Her featuring Mel C
5. Headlines (18 minute orchestral version with Geri on flute)
6. Tell Me Why - with projected image of Victoria Adams in background

35 minute break

7. Open panel discussion about child rearing led by Geri Halliwell with audience participation

35 minute break

8. Mel C - Reason album in its entirety as an encore

I spend half my working life discussing the dangers of spice

The demand for this has been phenomenal. They must have sold about half a million tickets now, considering the size of the venues. Wembley must be around 75k? I wish they'd done an additional date in Edinburgh but there isn't really space in the schedule.

I am hoping for some decent merch this time around. But it will probably be shit quality and overpriced!
