After bringing him up in the US charts thread, I watched his Tiny Desk concert, and I think I might be in love... I'm not sure how to describe him, but maybe somewhere between Frank Ocean and Leon Bridges. Also he's gay

I think I read an interview with him that was quite no labels, but yes the lyrics are big gay.

Yeah I don’t mind him. His lo-fi stuff is wonderful and he has some nice retro influences but I really don’t like his hip hop stuff. I get it because he’s young and he wants to be on trend - I just hate the modern hip hop sound. The vocal affectations just go through me

Anyway these were the songs that turned me on to him, lovely dreamy pop music

Ice Slippin has been quite the grower, but Live For Me sounds like the hit.

He apparently shows (painted) pole on the reverse of the physical EP. Very artistic of course.
