Doesn’t Sanremo have some sort of veneer of being a credible and vaguely serious music contest :D

I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I’d take a victory from Achille Lauro. It’s like Lil Peep meets ICONIC MAD EMMA who represented Italy in 2014 (?) meets Bo Sinn.

Quite here for the whole thing tbh :disco:

How many are performing tonight? I would think at least 50 because it lasts forever, but maybe it's not even half of that and they are really slow.

23 songs in the competition and COUNTLESS interval acts including this QUEEN who's never off the stage so it would seem.
 
I had a Google of ITALIAN MUSICAL STYLES because there is something very specific about the San Remo genre and didn’t get very far at all, but my conclusion based on the last few servings of hollered tat is that it’s very much based on there being FAR TOO MANY WORDS :side-eye:
 
This is only the 8th finalist. Ridiculous. :D
