No change in income and job; but due to a halt in a lot of social activities, my spending has decreased drastically which has thankfully made it easier for me to save for my new flat.
I know I vowed never to touch drugs again in lockdown. But if it goes on for another 3 months EXCEPTIONS will be made.
Especially as Mr Sheena is pretty much a CONSTANT PRESENCE so it won't leave me any time to masturbate for 7 hours to INCREASINGLY DUBIOUS PORNOGRAPHY.
I work in interior design so the future of the industry is a bit uncertain, it’s linked to the property market which looks like it’ll tank, but we’re grimly hoping that business will actually be quite busy post quarantine as people will be sick of the sight of their own houses.
Are you HEAD TEACHER, Cwoj?Earning the same, spending less... I've been very lucky as most of my family are losing some of their income. They always say 'teaching is a secure profession' and this is the kinda thing where you finally realise that what they're saying makes sense.
Oh and working MUCH less... it's really hard to find stuff to do all day. In reality, I probably have 2-3 hours worth of actual work to do each day now. It's very odd because I'm used to working 10-12 hour days. The last two weeks have been the Easter holidays, we're 'back' on Monday, but with 400 fewer students to worry about as government have said (unhelpfully) that nothing Year 11 or 13 do now will count towards their grade... so I have a team of 15 teachers creating about 20 lessons a week between us... that's really not enough work to go round.
Sorry to hear thatTime to update my vote as I’ve just lost my job
Can’t say I’m surprised as the writing was on the wall when we got furloughed.
Devestated though as this was a dream job I moved to Manchester for and I didn’t get a chance at it at all. Fuckkkkkkk.

I’m gutted. I know people are dying and the implications of this are bigger than me and my job but it’s how this impacts on us all as individuals.
For the majority of people another cancelled pride means a missed opportunity to come together and celebrate but to me it’s meant the loss of my income and a job supporting a community that I Uphold and value and wanted to enrich in whatever way I could.
it’s more than just a party and a headliner.
I did.I am really sorry darling.Did you work for Manchester Pride.
