I feel like Jack and Stacey MUST have slept together at some point in the past?

But I’ve got a feeling she’ll end up with the upper hand ultimately!

Interesting at Ravi’s reaction considering. And Nish must believe Suki about what Ravi did with Ranveer, or he wouldn’t tell him to “get rid” of her so assuredly.

I think he had proof at some point, but I can’t remember how.
 
Is Dean in the potential death lineup? I really hope it’s possible, he makes my skin crawl.

Ultimately though knowing Eastenders, I’m gonna hazard a guess it’ll be none of the suspects.

It was possible since news of his potential return came on the Valentine’s flash forward episode, but Linda walks in to find all the others standing over the body, so I guess she’s not involved directly in whatever occurs before.
 
Catching up with last nights. Ooh this is good, but Stacey and Jack are tedious. Is she not happy until she’s had it off with the whole Branning family?

The Jack and Stacey stuff is so contrived - all these loaded glances that have come completely out of nowhere. In fact it's so out of the blue and so artificial it's making me think that Jack must be the body at Christmas or at least heavily involved, because there's definitely some manoeuvring going on here to set something up.

I genuinely don't know why the writers seem so opposed to getting them back together properly, especially when it was heading that way earlier this year.

They were totally erased during her conversation with Jack when Max was brought up YET AGAIN (although that was a Simon Ashdown episode and he's unhealthily obsessed with Stacey and Max and shoehorns it in every chance he gets).
 
Did the actress that plays Karen quit or did she get axed? I don’t get why they got rid of her, as the likes of Mick and Bernie surely won’t last long without her?
 
I’m really enjoying my Eastenders revival, I must say. Probably helps that it’s so focused on the LADIES.

Axed I believe! I'm quite curious how the Taylors will continue without her, I suppose you could do a decent storyline with Mitch trying to keep the kids together without her but it feels like a bit of a stretch.
 
The family has been OBLITERATED. First Chantelle, then Keegan now Karen and I don’t think Keanu is long for this World. I don’t really see how Bernie can carry on as she relied so heavily on Karen and is a tad soft, so her stepping up and becoming some matriarch is rather unbelievable for me.
 
Also, what is going on with the underuse of Bailey? She won best young actress not so long ago as she showed her worth but now Chantelle and Grays kids get more lines.

If Bernie goes, and also now presuming Keanu is the body(?), Mitch could become patriarch of finally an all black family. Could get Felix to step up more since he’s been cruelly underused. And yes, Bailey was such a great child character… I presume school work for the actress has meant taking a step back.

I loved Felix manning the Taylor’s door to Phil the other day. :D
 
Don't read if you haven't watched tonight's yet.

So Mitch left with Karen and the kids in the end, which makes a lot of sense as they'd have been deadwood without her, as people have pointed out. I can sort of see how Felix and Bernie will be able to carry on in their current smaller roles. Bernie in particular if they're able to integrate her a bit more with Bobby, Freddie and the Knight girls.

I always got the sense that the current administration wasn't keen on Karen or her wider clan, which is a shame as I feel like all soaps need characters like Karen Taylor to keep them grounded, but I guess he just wasn't really interested in doing stories for them.

Good send-off though, and it served its purpose of heightening the stakes for Keanu, Sharon and Phil in the run-up to Christmas.
 
Could the six be a red herring? Perhaps whoever dies is attacked outside the Vic and staggers in, bottle in hand before collapsing.
 
I loved that. I actually got quite teary at parts and of course Julia’s Theme was PERFECT. I’m wondering if Mitch will come back, or has it been confirmed that him and Bailey were leaving? Let’s be honest 50k won’t last them long.
 
That was a good exit, but isn't Spain the worst place they could go? Phil's always popping over there, it seems a bit risky! I'm guessing Bernie will move out and that's a large flat free for a new family...
I'm not sure it was mentioned here, but apparently in the coming months Aunt Sal's husband and his family will be coming to the Square following her on-screen funeral.

Pretty good exit I thought, although what use is BERNIE at this point?
