I almost always disagree with his reviews. Unfollowed him a few years ago but he still kept coming up on my feed so I had to mute him.Who's this MISERY? It's had great reviews so far
There’s a certain type of cinema fan that builds their entire personality around how much they hate the latest Marvel film.Who's this MISERY? It's had great reviews so far
Totally down for an extra lap of LAP.
10/10 from meI got my tickets for tomorrow night
GREAT FUN this was
What a whiney article that was. Yea there are gay jokes but there’s also straight jokes. None of them felt out of line and the packed audience I was in laughed at all of them. The script is what makes Deadpool who he is as a character and nobody is safe.Re: Guy Lodge - he's written this which likely explains a lot of his ire -

Deadpool’s obnoxious gay panic humour is a tiresome schoolyard taunt
This summer’s Deadpool & Wolverine uses the superhero’s alleged pansexuality as queerbait, but turns it into a punchlinewww.theguardian.com

Saw it Friday night (Mr Kate’s second viewing) and basically SAME to all of thisSaw this, this evening. Not remotely interested in the comic book universes and didnt know most of the cameos (Mr Ag had to explain who Captain America was). Despite that I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I've always enjoyed Deadpool, because I like jokes
Just off to flick my bean to the Enya box set.
The best parts were the cameos and the fight scenes, especially the one in the car when Deadpool ends up in all those seatbelts lol.
The rest of it was shoehorned nostalgia and Disney trying to convince us they're 'self aware'.
The jokes were hit and miss. But overall a decent parody regardless.
Disney, Hollywood, corporate entertainment, capitalist media. Pick whatever synonym works for you. I found the script very "See?! We can totally make fun of ourselves, we're one of you! (now buy our shit)".Disney had absolutely nothing to do with that script and it showed.
