How are we still not at 54 letters, things are just getting weird now.
Well, would you want to take charge of this shitshow right now?How are we still not at 54 letters, things are just getting weird now.
How do any of these statements about him make him sound mentally competent enough to run a country?
Wouldn't that be at the discretion of his successor? I'd assume timescales would mean the change of leadership would happen during the campaigning period for the election so he'd be calling an election for someone else to contest.A no-confidence vote isn't a good way of dealing with him - if he wins it (which is very possible), he'll feel even more invincible than he already does.
Constitutional question - if he lost such a vote, could he take the spiteful route and call a GE?
They haven't repealed the fixed-term parliaments act yet so he can't just call one unilaterally. They would need to vote it through, and not a chance the Tory's will vote for one atm.A no-confidence vote isn't a good way of dealing with him - if he wins it (which is very possible), he'll feel even more invincible than he already does.

It is in the process of going, but probably won't be gone in time for Johnson to use it perniciously.I see - I was under the impression the fixed parliaments act had gone, I'd missed that they hadn't actually done so.
Well, that's something. I think. It is in the process of going, but probably won't be gone in time for Johnson to use it perniciously.
These lot were already anti-vax types anyway. I suppose we can be thankful at least that it's PROPER fringe stuff here, unlike the US where it's like, an actual fucking chunk of society. How THICK are people?
This is horrendous, though hopefully pushes a few more in to getting their letters in.

Has he ever apologised for trying to get that journalist beaten up? Or for hate crimes against Muslims tripling after his remark about letterboxes? He won't apologise because, and I quote, 'he's got other stuff to get on with today'.
Or if he is caught out he sort of apologies on behalf of other people (before throwing them to the wolves). All class. He never apologises for anything because he believes he's right about everything.
I think he’s BOTTOMED at this point.
