Tischvision - VOTING OPEN (NOW CLOSED)

11. PLAYLAND - Betta Lemme - Play

hiya love.

I'm pretty sure this track gets entered in every round :D I like this, but it's Sunday in the middle of a pandemic.

13. ZOFLABURG - Wax Wings feat. NIMMO - Reclaim Me

Yesssss love this. Reminds me of a garage track Rosie Ribbons did a few years ago. This is a mood and I'm here for it.

14. PRINCIPALITY OF FARRINGTON GURNEY - Girli - Fuck Right Back Off to LA

This is 2021's Bip Burger, which is a tall order. Need to let this settle a bit more because the chorus is very good, like Jentina and Verbalicious releasing a song written by Frankee.

15. SPACE - Frances Forever - Space Girl

Falls slightly on the wrong side of Britpop for me. I wasn't here for it but it just looked like pop music being given a gagging order and forced to perform with token guitars.

16. EXEGGCUTE - Pokémon - Viridian City

I think the Pokemon theme is one of the all-time greats, it's so inspiring. This reminds me a lot of Charles & Eddie. Slightly too optimistic for me but I wish them all their best on their journey to Viridian City - say hi to Rita from me!

17. URUGUAY - Sunflower Bean - TwentyTwo

This stood out to me on the first listen because this is such a great vocal. I think this is better than Dreams Tonite from - both are Cardigans lite but this vocal and lyrics really propel it.

18. TASMANIA - PNAU feat. Kira Divine & Marques Toliver - Solid Gold

This is magic! Damn I wish I entered this (for real this time) Just a great song - you can't help but to get lost in it and to feel great during it. Definitely a keeper.

19. JUPITER - Leifur James - Wurlitzer

Jupiter was a good sponsor name for this because I feel like I'm lost in space with Matt Le Blanc. I appreciated this but it took me half the song to realise it wasn't just a long intro. Brave.

20. SWITZERLAND - Frida - Även en blomma

I know this song well and absolutely adore it. Just a great pop song, haunting and hopeful.

21. SYRIA - Driver86 and Bunny X - If You Say Goodbye (Diamond Field Remix)

This is a very sweet song, driven by a pulsating beat and hopeful vocal. Really makes me want to go out :(

22. NOVA SCOTIA - Hyyts - Bad Tattoo

I like the feel of this, but I think I would prefer if it was a female vocal. It suffers coming after Syria but isn't bad by any means.

23. YOLKOHAMA - Smash Into Pieces - Real One

This is a great semi closer! Great playlisting all round @Tisch This kind of reminds me of a song from a disaster movie soundtrack, like Ana "We Are" from Spiderman. My older brother would like this a lot so gonna send it now and pretend it's me singing on GarageBand.

1. THE BARREN ISLE OF SELF LOATHING - Night Club - Miss Negativity

Like the initial Miss Kittin vibes of this. Quite low-key and could get lost in the mix.

2. UAE - Tkay Maidza - 24K

An enjoyable track that would sound great in a club. I have zero idea what it's about though but the whole vibe of the track is strong enough to carry it through.

3. THEMYSCIRA - Fionn - Taste For It

This is one I keep coming back to - it's very well-executed and sounds complete enough to be a winner?

4. KENT - Q Lazzarus - Goodbye Horses

Well I know this very well :D This is quite hard to judge - a fantastic song but it's surely one of the most famous to have ever been entered?

5. UNITED STATE OF GEORGIA - Bon Entendeur vs Isabelle Pierre - Le Temps Est Bon

This is a keeper for me - not even sure how to describe this. This competition is HARD - Tischvision might have the highest number of quality songs ever :o

6. DENMARK - Mary Chapin Carpenter - The Age Of Miracles

Not really for me but I think it's quite sweet. I'm at a pub and a divorced woman is singing this with a guitar, crying.

7. PRIDE - Blair St Clair - All Your Exes

I absolutely hate all Rupaul contestant music (I like lots of Rupaul's music though) and so I'm going to ignore that when I listen.

Okay I can't ignore it. No thank you.

9. REPUBLIC OF RYAN GOSLING - Fused - Saving Mary

A good track, but quite anonymous. I see it's part of a compilation and that's about right.

12. ICELAND - Hildur - Bumpy Road

I think some of these tracks are suffering from such a strong start to the competition. I like this but don't know if it's strong enough to out-elbow its rivals.

13. FAROE ISLANDS - Au/Ra & CamelPhat - Panic Room

I like this dirty little track. This is RaspberrySwirl I can feel it in me waters.

14. AURORA - I Monster - Who Is She?

This stood out to me yesterday, I like the grungy mess that this is. One you really need to be in the mood for.

15. LEAGUE OF NATIONS - Vargos & Lagola - Selfish

This also stood out yesterday - this is GOOD! Kind of reminds me of the best of recent Estonia at Eurovision, or like Eskobar from Sweden.

16. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - Ssion - Luvvbazaar

The same backing as Got To Have Your Love, this is a fun track but again, slightly too anonymous to survive?

17. NORWAY - Clipping. feat. Cam & China - 96 Neve Campbell

This stood out yesterday but in an unfavourable way, particularly in comparison to the other female rap track in this semi "24K". To me this is just not good and quite unpleasant.

18. NICARAGUA - Koven - Light Up

I like the lyrics of this, that's what sets it apart from being too generic because it is essentially quite a familiar track. NOT BAD!

19. MÉTIS FIRST NATIONS - iskwē - Little Star

okay this feels powerful. [2 minutes later] I don't know if this lives up to its full potential but it's certainly good.

21. THE DOMINION - Cilia - Silhouettes In Slow Motion

I didn't like this too much first listen but I became increasingly taken as the track continued. This feels like a great album closer.

22. ARGO CITY - Toni Halliday - Time Turns Around

This is a bit like the female version of the semi 1 closer. Very anthemic. But not on Spotify it missed being played on my speakers and I think the sponsor should write to the Toni Halliday estate and ask them to invest in Spotify representation - YOU HAVE TEN DAYS!
