There was another one off release between KMO and Golden wasn't there? I'm almost scared/bemused/embarrassed/ashamed to mention it (delete as appropriate).
This is the problem with being one of the most prolific pop stars out there.
Gosh Moopy are a fickle bunch. Dancing is wonderful and despite the slightly iffy production, there's lots to like on the album (as well as the usual things to cringe at). I don't hate KMO at all but Golden is the better record.
It's obviously her most personal work to date too.
Wasn't sure where to post this (figured this thread might be best) but I've been listening to Steve Anderson's podcasts of late and one of the episodes featuring The Alias/Jewels and Stone (who both worked at PWL in the late 80s/early 90s) revealed that the the version of Things Can Only Get Better that was the b-side to What Kind Of Fool, was the original take before it was remixed for the album. I completely ignored it at the time but Julian Gingell emphatically states that this "harder edged" version was the original:
