Scores were all over the place for this match, and were comparably low due to the number of ??s. Those who did rate them seemed to love them. And we've got INDIE for another round despite is lack of confidence!

Word gets around *is* a good album, ill give you that. It goes rapidly downhill from there.

Also yeah, cheers for this @funky it's a great idea. I'm sad that people were too intimidated by my music taste to feel qualified to vote for my playlist, but I'll definitely be following this closely in the next round.
 
I think round 1 was a bit chaotic but it was everyone's first time (including mine and figuring out how to co-ordinate)

I think if it was a success and we did it again people could be more strategic about their playlists and have a bit of fun with it.

I literally went to the Dance Anthems thread, picked 7 from the top 20, Gloworm for good measure, Sash because he had so many appearances, and stupid Loreen for homophobic pandering :)
 
As a fan of soft rock I was very happy when Stereophonics moved to soul and acoustic stuff. See also Kings Of Leon. I get why the purists hate it when bands do that. I'm like that with dance music, and R&B, but much more mainstream and safe when it comes to guitar music.
 
I was really surprised by the number of voters who didn't know songs like A&E, Jealousy and even Everywhere in my playlist :o I got so many ?s. but I was worried I'd gone in too BROAD :D glad to know that I'm sophisticated enough for Zara though, funks! :disco:

the results are SO interesting. I'm so happy that @RJN won his round because... well. :zsazsa:

At some point I had no strength anymore to look for the songs I didn’t know and rate them, so the ‘??’ was what I left them with.
I still don’t know what that song is. Maybe I do but just reading the title it doesn’t ring a bell.

Not really.
I started listening to foreign music in 1998 (I think) when I was 17, so perhaps I wasn’t exposed to the same things as people of the English speaking world.
