My main takeaway tonight is that I’m really pleasently surprised by the hosting.

In terms of script/charisma they’re leagues ahead of those dull Austrian ladies from 2015. Feels like a fitting, only slightly downgraded sequel to Petra last year.

If I didn’t know better (and to be fair I don’t) I’d suspect they brought Edward af Sillen in to do some script doctoring.

The new qualifier announcement format was… fine.

If anything it felt less tense than the former method, but then it’s tough to judge when the results are random and completely meaningless.
