Exile has an interesting system they apply to all their groups where there are designated singers and dancers, and it’ll always be those ones. Not a Steps situation! They also have a “leader”, which is often NOT one of the singers. Generations’ leader is the oddly hot but not very Japanese sounding Alan Shirahama I can’t imagine everyone going OMG to someone called Alan

GOT7 is a lot more subdued than everything else so far, but still finds room for a frenetic dance routine. Asia seems to put so much more effort into its pop than we do.

yeah I think they were around mid-00s, now defunct. But honestly their GH really FUCKS! maybe it’s a momentum thing, but considering I didn’t really know any of their songs, I could listen to a whole 16-track GH and not feel burned out, and I don’t know many GHs I can say that about
