PS I mean Laura and Koit not Iggy and Outie who are fabulous.
 
Are we still arguing?
For what it’s worth, I enjoyed everything. The only thing I don’t like is not qualifying, which I have a habit of, but I still voted because I’m obstinate.

I think the best choice of Iggyvision was the staggered reveal. 20 is enough for one sitting. The deadline was tight but there were reasons, and it’s not like I have anything else going on so it was just a motivator in the end.

I like that each contest has had a different flavour from the host. I don’t think we need to decide how to do it by committee, just as we haven’t until now (even though people have tried anyway)

I’m constantly bemused at how critical people can be over free entertainment/services, not just here but in the wider world

Some people run or win things and never get any points, which is awful, if that makes you feel better.

This I think.

It's one thing to offer suggestions but another to pick apart how things are run when it's done on the host's own time and effort.

And I'm fully aware that I can hammer suggestions a bit much (in the karaoke threads for example) but it is all in fun and I'd still participate even if the theme was something I had no connection with because, again, it's a good time and I HAVE the time. And if I was told that it was annoying or upsetting I'd hope to have the social etiquette to know to stop.

All the hosts have done a good job.

I don't have a thick skin at all but one outburst aside I think I've stayed relatively ok :D Also I do get that the post mortem is just a way to think about how to take it forward. But maybe let's give it a few days to settle!
 
I have finally found time to read the whole thread and I first want to say CONGRATS to @Iguana for this amazing event. WELL DONE!

Also, congrats to @OutSynk for winning the whole thing and even more so because I actually liked the song.

I was a little surprised you didn't get more voters as the reaction to your song was really very positive during the premiere party but it may have just been a bit out there to make people's lists!
