Spectrum is a proper hot moment for me - this Calvin Harris sound got quite tired quite quickly for me but this, Sweet Nothing and Pray To God are all total 10s.
 
This is making me want to listen to Final Fantasy theme song chanteuse Florence's ENTIRE BACK CAT NOT SORRY
 
I actually quite like Florence. I just don't see why every single Calvin Harris song sounds exactly the fucking same.
 
I also got someone else's Deliveroo as well as mine so it's been a good night (well apart from most of Kalavision)
 
Here's a woman who I thought was dead, but it turns out she's both alive and not Laura Branigan.
Taylor Dayne - Tell It To My Heart. This was the winner for fucking ages, but ended up fourteenth.

Oh god her sister used to manage a restaurant I worked at so she came in a lot.

Once whilst having dinner ‘you got the love’ (original version) came on and she got out of her chair and started dancing in the middle of the restaurant to everyone’s horror. Then she burst into tears and had to be ushered to the office.

My fave Flo moment was when she came in for lunch and I asked ‘hey how are you?’ and she responded ‘oh just working on a HIT ALBUM how about you?’
 
I never knew that Taylor Dayne was the love child of Tina Turner and the Joker before seeing this video.

Slightly bizarrely they play this now and again on 6 Music and I got QUITE THE TASTE for it

Kelly's Freemason'd Work is likely the best uptempo (*aaoow*) she ever did, but she and Beyonce totally piggy backed on Solange doing something amazing better, so for me her Melanie Thornton aspirations always felt a bit sterile and insincere.
 
So at least one of our Kel's songs has made it. Another scalp for @Kate
This came seventh. No longer will people call her 'the one that's not Beyonce.' They'll call her 'The one that's not Beyonce. No, not the shit one, the one that said 'uptempo' in a daft voice on the X-Factor'.
She's earned it.
