She's probably never really been a true powerhouse vocalist; her vibe has always been a bit "sultry" and "husky" that doesn't always translate on a live stage.

The live show I saw her, she definitely had a few breathless (BOOM BOOM) moments. 50 years old now, and not consistently practicising - The Corrs aren't the most active band. No new music since 2017, and their live touring is very sporadic (they only resumed a year ago after almost five years off)

I think Runaway especially is the most perfect vocal and would never have put her down as husky personally. 🤷‍♀️

You are probably totally right as I have never watched her live and only know the studio version of her voice.
 
Catching up with this now, kind of disappointed that Kingfisher wasn't Harry Hill 😕 (it was Sir Grayson Perry, a pottery guy I've not heard of before)

I randomly had it in my head earlier haha (and thought to listen to the other song Breathless, I think I heard the song before, admittedly don't think that much of it. 😅)
Snail was Andrea Corr as some knew from the voice. :thumbsup:

I'd still love to see Enya do this show as a scorpion or something. :disco:
 
I didn't watch last night, so ignore this is there was a clue of her holding a golden horn or something, but from previous weeks I am sure as can be that she's Samantha Barks
 
Wait I was half-watching the show on Saturday, and also thought Pufferfish sounded a bit like the one who played Elsa in the Frozen West End musical (Samantha Barks) and Davina apparently realised some clue too. Probably is her then. :D ✨
 
They should allow that more often when a singer is revealed, for them to sing a famous song of theirs. 😊

This was a fantastic end to the series. I loved mostly all the songs and Samantha Barks really was incredible.
