Oh and I feel much more HEARTENED by the UK now. That looks quite the standout to make me convinced it can escape bottom 5 at least, though Mr RoM thought it all a bit crude I sort of get that, I'm not sure some lightweight gay porn fantasy will be to everyone's taste, but more importantly it just looks like a really polished pop video come to life so hopefully that will win out.

I like that he’s gone absolute DIRT with it. We’ve played frustratingly safe for so long it feels weird that we’re the ones bringing the wild stage show.

Belgium was genuinely my favourite once upon a time but hard agree that everything brought out since the studio version was unleashed has been off-putting and unpleasant. The acoustic version where he shouts over a guitar did little but showcase that shouty vocals really don't suit him and for a song that is nothing but shouty vocals... well...

I feared people might look at it this way (I’ve read this multiple times). I choose to believe this is something really emotional for him and he seems like the kind of person who doesn’t fake it.

However, I must say that I highly prefer the semi final performance of S10 because I felt her emotions and I appreciate it she didn’t do the same in the final.
