FEBRUARY! VALENTINE'S DAY! A time for love and romance... fuck that. We're in a global pandemic and even happy couples are going to have a shit one this year. So let's say fuck it (:basil:) by sending Kate some Anti-Valentine songs.

ACCEPTABLE THEMES in descending order of preference:
  • BUNNY BOILING BITTER RAGE! (e.g. Kelis - Caught Out There)
  • I'm better off without you anyway, cunt! (e.g. Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive)
  • Unrequited love (e.g. Robyn - Dancing On My Own)
  • Heartbreak (e.g. Robyn - With Every Heartbeat)
  • Leave me alone you incel fuck, I am never going to have sex with you (^)
  • Who needs a man* anyway, I'm going out dancing with the girls*! (^)
^ I couldn't think of a famous example, suggestions welcome
* other genders may apply

UNACCEPTABLE THEMES:
  • My lover is so lovely/sexy, I love them/having sex with them :):)
  • I am desperately looking for love/sex, I hope I find it soon!!!!
  • They're such a frightful beast/pain in the anus but I love them too much to ever leave xx
  • We're having some problems at the moment but I know we'll work it out!

Instead of COUNTRIES this time we are having METRO STATIONS. These can be from anywhere in the world and can be subway/underground, tram or cable car (:eyes:) stations. London Overground and DLR are fine. No mainline stations please (unless they are also a metro station).

Your "flag" should be something to represent your station, e.g. a sign. If you could please make sure the picture isn't too huge, that would be lovely. You can resize and re-upload with Imgur if necessary.

Please submit your entries by PM to me with the following information:
  • Artist Name
  • Song Name
  • YouTube Link
  • Spotify Link (as usual this is not essential, but strongly recommended)
  • Station Name
  • Station Picture
If you INSIST, you can specify a timestamp for your recap to start. The clip will be about 18 seconds long. Bear in mind the lovely Zen will be doing these again out of the goodness of his giraffey heart so don't take the piss.

You have until 23:59 GMT on SUNDAY 14th FEBRUARY.

Songs will be released on 17th & 18th Feb. Results will be some time during the first week of March. I'd prefer the Friday as we can get pissed :disco: (I promise I won't fall asleep) but any THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS WELCOME.
 
I had one lined up, but the refined rules, rule it out. I really only have one left that works at it was MY VERY LAST CHOICE.

It is of course no surprise that people are already submitting songs as anger and bitterness come so naturally to most Moopy queens.
 
I can’t decide if the refined rules have fucked me or not. And if they have you all will be fucked.

Why not last weekend of February? Or do we need 2 weeks to vote?
 
PHEW. I have FOURTEEN entries already and I have rejected TWO. No song duplicates yet but we have had a station duplicate :D
 
Oh I should also let you know that you must vote on all the other songs once they've been premiered, so make sure you have some free time towards the end of Feb!
