Justin Timberlake - Everything I Thought It Was (Flop 6th Album)

That last single sounded ok but honestly it’s nothing he hasn’t done before. He’s also an asshole so :D
 
Drown keeps showing up in my daily mixes, it's a good song but it was much better when Madonna released it in 2008 under the title of Devil Wouldn't Recognize You and that's the main problem, every other song sounds like something Timbaland has done before and terrible dated and like Funky said, some questionable lyrics for a married man with daughters; why on Earth didn't he look for different producers? Baffling.
 
I think the combination of that whole "i are rustik woodsman, yah" bullshit and the general realisation that he's a bit of a prick pretty much finished him. I have no idea how well he would tour, mind you - albums and tours are almost two different things these days.
 
Albam is fine. Guy is a dork. I really thought he was falling in that clip as it kept stopping and I was getting anxious (well as anxious as one can get anticipating Justin Timberlake falling) so had to stop.

I’m sorry, but why do twitter accounts post shit like that? Do the people than run them not have jobs or something more important to do with their time?

Like he’s a prick and the album has bombed, but who cares…enough to ‘gloat’ about Billboard chart runs?
 
Also I couldn't really care less about the performance of Justin Timberlake albums, but don't the vast majority of new albums drop right out now due to streaming?
 
I doubt Mariah would even chart!

I saw a similar tweet today from Christina, Liberation spent 2 weeks (That was 8 years ago wtf) and AGUILERA didn't even chart :D :disco:
 
Yeah streaming has really done a number on the Billboard Charts. Random albums just come and go

It’s the same in the UK. We’ve said it before but how it benefits the industry to have all those classic albums in the charts at the expense of current or new artists is just baffling. The chart companies have become very lazy at responding to the times.
