There's quite a few newish dramas that could easily take over the Vera slot, Van der Valk being one Grace which did huge numbers during the pandemic.

Reboot of a 1980s TV series starring Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt and Dame Hannah Waddingham. Looks like a total riot, even if Emily feels a bit miscast.

The clip delivers on so many levels. "How's Adam?" Jane dropping her head to cringe. The wide-eyed look of horror in Tanya's face. The relief from both that the scene moved on quickly so there wasn't much reaction time. Truly a golden era. :disco:

Adam Woodyat. It harks back to the infamous live episode blunder where Tanya asked Jane how Adam was instead of Ian.

This was very much Amy Winehouse: the early years, where they glossed over pretty much everything that happened from Glastonbury to her death. It wasn't that bad, I did enjoy Jack O'Connell channelling his inner Danny Dyer though.

His mic cut out midway through and he handled it pretty well considering he's yet to have a halfway decent performance live.

Every performance I've seen has been great, even when the audience look like they're sleeping.

Fan suggestion ( :rolleyes: ) has said Gus could be his son or one of his mystery brothers,which after Cindy would be a bit too many links to the Square.
