It's weird, a customer of ours described it as crumbly to look at but turns to liquid in your mouth. So completely different to ours. There's absolutely no need for any of this pettiness. We've not had it with any other shops on the island, and we were here first, it's not like we've come along...

Not on the reviews no....but I'm wondering if they do in the shop to unknowing customers. That's what we're trying to do, but I need to find someone they won't recognise as a friend of mine, and who is sensible enough to ask the right questions.

Exactly, that's what's so frustrating. What we need, is for someone we know and trust to go in to their shop, ask a few leading questions and see if they slate us, see if they say "Roly's use premix, Roly's don't do this" etc. Then I wonder if we can accuse them of slander 🤔 That reviewer has...

We genuinely have no idea. We've never had anything to do with them. We coexist perfectly well with the other fudge shops on the island, in fact we actively promote them to people if needed. But these ones are fucking vile.
