It was semi one then voting, semi two then voting, then qualifier reveals, then the 6 finalists and one last round of voting of 26 songs. They voted using https://eurovisionvote.party which is a pretty cool scoreboard generator. That way we get the semi final results which everyone liked.

So this won the vote at my Eurovision Party last night beating Netherlands in second place by 6 points. About 70 people there and pretty much all the ballads didn’t qualify which is par for the course for this kind of event.

I have changed my votes. I think Serbia and Slovenia are in danger, girl. Serbia have a shit draw and it’s the least memorable song in the first half and I can’t see all that half qualifying. Slovenia is just a mess, and too artsy for its own good. I think with the staging Ireland are gonna...

A few people I know went to one of his gigs last week and said it was the worst gig they’ve ever been to.

I mean the qualifiers get an extra three rehearsals than the non qualifiers and the finalists. But I just realised that’s not the case for the finalists this year as they’re actually performing in the semis.

I wonder who we’ll get as the UK spokesperson. Ncuti Gatwa maybe? The new series of Doctor Who starts the same evening. Or maybe Alison Hammond, she has her own chat show starting on the BBC.
