I imagine the crowd will get right into it. Weird comparison, but I remember the stadium full of queens singing along to Sanna's Undo being quite an elevating moment.

Goodness, I hope they won't struggle with the lyrical complexity of it all.

Oh come on! That wasn’t my point. But the amount of FUCKING STRAIGHTS on the bandwagon this year suggests it won’t be your STANDARD audience, and certainly not comparable to the usual semis audience.

All they have to scream is CHA CHA CHA, it's not like if they have to rehearse. Straights? Give them some booze and they'll be screaming queens.

They seem to manage on football terraces when they are beered up. And we already know Eurovision is going down a storm at Macclesfield FC.

You’re all missing the point! It’s not that hard, no, but how many are going to know it before the semis? That’s my only point. It’s not about lyrical complexity here!

Yeah how many ‘casuals’

A) realised how high the demand would be and planned accordingly?

and

B) willingly forked out the frankly extortionate cost of the tickets?

It’ll be screaming middle aged queens a go-go and ALL THE BETTER FOR IT.

You’re forgetting that I was also there and am well aware it was about ten near the front.
The important thing is that it READ ON TELEVISION
Oh good, Käärijä's fine if half the audience DOES turn out to just be Joe and Jess from Sefton who'd heard something was on locally and fancied doing something on a Tuesday night for once :disco:

Anyway all of this is irrelevant because they’ll obviously let them have the cha cha cha on the backing track. When have they ever been strict about any of this stuff?
Croatia a mere TEN POINTS AWAY from being relegated from the 2003 contest but for Doris Dragovic's doping, so I hear :(

QUITE. Anyone causing us to have unnecessary and frightening levels of anxiety to have their legs chopped off please

Love all these indepth sociological analysis of an audience that doesn't exist yet. It's also a touch presumptive, that just because YOU didn't get tickets, that those who did are all Ed Sheeran fans, with a gay best friend and never explored Eurovision beyond the Wogan years.

:D I do however hear that Amanda and Dave from Bootle spent thousands of pounds on front row tickets because they’re hoping for Linda Martin

If it’s Dave and Amanda from Bootle they probably got a second hand pitbull off Gumtree

We don’t get cocker spaniels SOUTH OF FORMBY
Well they say they're cocker spaniels but I've seen the bites and I did say to Amanda that she needs to stop smearing Chum on her fancy :(

I have broken into giggles several times today thinking about this, particularly the "Weird comparison, but" preface. Oh @VoR :disco:

(Love ya)
