Horrible places in London

I once went to what turned out to be a crack den in Seven Sisters to buy some weed which was nice. I enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of ALL HOPE ABANDONED. In fact it was much like being on here :tongueout:

I visited some friends in Tottenham Hale once and that was fine but that was probably because they were on a very high floor of a shiny new development

Sadly now sprogged up and moved to Saffron Walden :(

Anyway I was in Belsize Park tonight and my friend said that Tom Hiddleston walks his dog past her flat every night around 9:30 and we were like YEAH RIGHT but SURE ENOUGH THERE HE WAS while six of us were there with our tits pressed up against the window

Anyway what thread was this? Oh yes Hampstead TERRIBLE PLACE

He used to live in Hackney, too good for us now :(

Well imagine LIVING there

I CANNOT EVEN
The first flat I viewed in London was in Upney, I feel like that was a lucky escape.

Mind you, I didn't mind Stockwell during the five months I lived there. Even if my flatmate did come in bleeding one evening after being mugged close to the flat and shoved into the railings, so maybe all you lot hating are right!

What is the position on whether Saffron Walden is London or Essex?

Saffron Walden is Essex. My friends lived there for a while. Obviously, they've since upgraded to Cambridge, but it is VERY NICE.

On the horrible places in London front, I can't say I'm very fond of PENGE, mainly because of the rather ungracious name rather than the very lovely chip shop :disco:

Isn't PENGE quite POSH these days? I was under the impression the middle classes and gastropubs had started to PILE IN due to its close proximity to Crystal Palace Park's iconic DINOSAURS :disco:

I have never been to see the dinosaurs despite my family connections to the area. As a child my grandfather witnessed the Crystal Palace BURN DOWN!

I love that the remains of the Palace are STILL THERE, completely with desecrated Egyptian SPHYNX! :disco:

Between the dinosaurs, burnt down palace and flurry of accidentally-released TROPICAL BIRDS flying ahead, Crystal Palace Park is really quite SPECIAL!

Oh my God look at that STUNING VISTA! :disco:

Actually I'm sure the disgusting @Penelope and I could add Crystal Palace Park to our list of PLACES TO GET MURDERED WHILE LISTENING TO BURIAL :disco:

That's MY FANTASY TOO. And it's RAPE and MURDER!

And yes past their glory parks would be perfect!

Oh I'm not sure that I want to be RAPED. Seems a bit much when you're having a nice day out admiring the exquisite sphynx and enjoying the beautiful views. Maybe a bit of FORCED ORAL instead :disco:

I went to Crystal Palace for the first time for that festival the other week and this has reminded me I meant to look up who that massive HEED is that I walked past in the park. Of course it's Joseph Paxton who designed the palace (with insufficient fire retardancy)

FUN FACT: He invented bananas. Google it, I tell no lie!

Next week I have another festival in Brockwell Park, about which I know NOTHING.

Look at all of you CRUISING IN MY LOCAL PARK.

Crystal Palace was voted BEST SOUTH LONDON PARK in a highly contested and most importantly highly scientific Twitter Poll a few months ago :disco: It even has a CARAVAN PARK in the BUSHIEST and LESS FREQUENTED part of the park where NOTHING DODGY WHATSOEVER happens :eyes:

Also, if you think PENGE is funny, the next stop on the train is called ANALLY.

On a Brixton front, I expect it's one of those places like Hackney where you eventually get used to the tone after living there for a while, but I would say that I think it's HORRID. Also it is very close to notably rancid Stockwell :argh:

CAFFE CONCERTO and I’m not even going to dignify it with accents :)

Brockwell Park is nice, if a little OVERCROWDED at the best of times. The lido is UNSWIMABLE these days, much like the one in London Fields.

UKIP are right - this island is just TOO FULL!!!1

Oh it's quite nice there and also not a million miles away from popular lounge eaterie MCDONALDS BRIXTON :disco:
The very STATE of that place after a night at the FRIDGE in its homosexual heyday.

I think the locals were thrilled by the sheer amount of mesh vests and short shorts on display.
